Greenhouse air control unit installation

The University of Minnesota’s new greenhouse presented unique challenges when it came to finding the right hose bibb. The structure is climate-controlled by a row of air-control units that need a water source that can be quickly and easily winterized.
The standard solution would have been a traditional brass hose bibb (requiring tedious winterization after each use), or expensive insulated water lines. With the House Hydrant V1, the system disconnects in less than a second. Any splitter or accessory can be added downstream of the connector. After they disconnect, they are left with a secure, leak-free, frostproof stainless steel outlet.
