Simply screw the adapter onto any garden hose end or conventional tap, and you’re ready to go.
The hose adapter and connector are fitted with standard American 3/4″ Garden Hose Thread ends. Use the kit to quickly connect any hoses, nozzles, or accessories together with ease.
You can use the Aquor Hose Adapter and Connector with any garden hose.
The Hose Adapter is designed to perform best on homes with water pressures between 35-100 psi. The Hose Adapter can still be used safely at higher pressures, but requires slightly more effort to engage at 120+ psi.
If you plan on using the outlet with extremely low water pressures, such as greenhouses or agricultural operations, please contact us for a heavier weight spring.
The included Aquor hose connector has a one-way check valve that will prevent reverse flow of liquid. This feature stops the water instantly when disconnected, allowing you to bring hoses indoors without residual leaks or drips.
However, it is not intended to be used as a backflow preventer. Please see our hydrants with built-in vacuum breakers for true backflow protection.
We recommend unplugging the system when not in use. Aquor outlets are best designed for frequent usage. Leaving the system pressurized for extended periods of time when not in use can cause hard water build-up or the O-rings to seize. It’s best to unplug after you’re done using your water – we’ve made it as quick and easy as possible.
Built with 316L stainless steel, the hose adapter is designed to withstand frequent use and harsh conditions, and is virtually crush-proof.
The connector is made of durable wear-resistant Delrin® polymer, and will last years of frequent use. Unlike traditional gardening products made of ABS plastic, Delrin is a much more durable polymer that will not break if dropped or stepped on. Delrin is a FDA-approved food grade material that is non-toxic and free of harmful chemicals. The only replaceable parts are two easily accessible DuPont Viton® O-rings, chosen for their long lifetimes and dependable sealing ability.
