Aquor’s tank-fill inlet is one of the most dependable valves on the market. Cast with the same 316L marine-grade stainless steel as our Marine Deckwash, the valve is 100% lead-free and non-toxic. It has a standard 1/2″ NPT inlet for universal installation with any plumbing type. The internal valve is injection-molded Nylon 6-6, a fiber-reinforced polymer with excellent tensile strength and incredible wear resistance. Aquor’s unique valve uses a reverse-piston that opens when the hose connector is plugged in. The valve is rated for over 400,000 cycles, and can be easily replaced if ever needed. The hydrant body is 100% stainless steel and nearly indestructible. This is a true zero-maintenance valve that you will enjoy for decades.
The included hose connector is our CN-F Removable Faucet in Jet Black. The connector attaches to any garden hose, and has an integrated ball-valve to control water flow. Made from a heavy-duty acetal resin, this is NOT your average ABS plastic. It is a true commercial-grade polymer that will withstand frequent use for years. Twin high-performance Viton® O-rings are rated for 150,000+ cycles. The hose connector has a removable stainless steel screen that filters any large debris from entering your water tank.
Included is a durable EPDM rubber plug cover to keep any dust or debris out. It’s a nice, secure fit – ideal for overlanding and off-road applications. The cover doubles as a gasket, weather-sealing the hydrant against the mounting surface. Even if the cover is left open while unplugged, the valve will still seal out dirt and debris. A stainless steel spring holds the valve closed when not in use. It also provides security and tamper-resistance, preventing any undesired access. No loose keys or padlock needed.

FAQ
Does the RV Water Inlet require installation?
Yes, it’s a flush-mounted outlet that sits within the wall, floor, or other surface you are installing into. It installs very similarly to a standard hose bibb or valve.
Simply thread in any universal 1/2″ NPT plumbing fitting, depending on your type of plumbing (copper, PEX, or other). For the quickest and easiest installation, we recommend installing with 1/2″ PEX tubing. Remember to wrap the fitting with several layers of teflon tape before threading in. The optional elbow inlet can be positioned in any direction while keeping a watertight seal. The elbow inlet also shortens the valve by approximately 1/2″ which can be helpful in some applications.
Can I install the outlet vertically?
Yes! The outlet can be installed vertically or horizontally. Even upside-down, if you’d like.
How much clearance do I need for installation?
You’ll want at least 4.5″ to allow room for a plumbing fitting to be threaded in. With our optional 90° elbow inlet, only 3.5″ of clearance is needed. It replaces the back half of the outlet, and can be positioned in any direction.
What else do I need for installation?
You will need a 1.5″ hole saw, a 1/2″ NPT male-threaded plumbing adapter, teflon tape, and a philips screwdriver.
How does the outlet work?
It’s a quick coupler system built right into the valve. With the Aquor hose connector attached to your garden hose, you simply push and twist into the outlet. The hydrant’s plunger-valve opens and water can begin flowing instantly. There is no screw and flat rubber washer like a traditional brass valve. Viton® O-rings seal tight under pressure for a reliable water-tight seal, every time. The reliable valve design is designed for decades of zero-maintenance, drip-free use.
Is the hose connector “plastic”? Will it break if I tug on it?
Our material choices are based on 15+ years of experience designing valves for marine applications. Aquor hose connectors are made from acetal resin, a heavy-duty commercial polymer. They can be used daily for years, are nearly crush-proof, and can withstand extremely high water pressures. Traditional brass hose bibs are certified to 100 lbs of lateral bending force. Our straight hose connector has been tested to 200+ lbs without breaking. If you are concerned about impact while connected, consider our Angled Hose Connector or Removable Faucet instead.
Will it provide freeze protection?
It will provide moderate freeze protection due to the recessed valve and stainless body. Also note that if you install vertically, a small bit of water remains in the outlet. If used in freezing temperatures, you should drain or wipe out the remaining water to prevent ice from forming.
